The stunning perlino stallion Alabastro do Vouga from Ecurie des Diligences. I found the expression on his face so soft and kind and at the same time it's a very strong image so and interesting combination and it was an absolute pleasure to paint him.
Thank you Annie for letting me use your wonderful reference!!

For this one I again used the Zorn palette (cadmium red, yellow ochre, titanium white and ivory black) but did it with oils instead of acrylic (which I used for the other cremello foal [link]).

Size app. 28x39 cm.

Beautiful!! Perlino is such a stunning color, it can make almost any horse absolutely gorgeous. I think you captured just the right coloration!
